In Loving Memory of

Steven Brodie Jernigan 11/6/1954-1/3/2025

Steve was a man of many interests. From dirt bikes to kites, from hiking to custom printing, from
raising puppies to raising hell, Steve did it all. Over the years, Steve raised pets of all different shapes,
sizes, and species— tarantulas, magpies, rats, robins, dogs, cats, snakes, and the occasional turtle or
two. He could be stubborn and bull-headed, but the friends he made were friends for life. Steve loved
nature and was happiest on long hikes with one or more of his many dog companions or hanging out
in the barn with his equally stubborn mule, George.
Steve is loved and missed by his wife Judy, his brother Pat, his sister Graye, his stepchildren and
grand-step children, and many, many other friends and family.
A memorial service will be held on January 18th from 1-3 PM at the Palmer Lake Town Hall. Flowers
or cards may be sent in advance to the Palmer Lake Town Office, 42 Valley Crescent St
