Steven Tucker Dapp Obituary

Steven T Dapp Sr, 73, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on October 11, 2023 at his home.  Born the first of three children to George Dapp Sr. and Ruth (Walker) Dapp, in Chicago, IL. He was baptized as a Congregationalist and grew up in a suburb of Chicago, then moved to Jonesboro, AR.  He attended Arkansas State University and earned an MA in history.  While attending University, he joined ROTC.  In 1973, Steve was commissioned into the Army as a Second Lieutenant.  He met and married MaryAnn Masterson in Manhattan, NY where his wife was born and married in August of 1981.  He was blessed with four children; Maureen (Allen) Vanderford, Lauren (Forest) Blain, Heather (Reuben) Cabrera, and Steven (Kendra)Dapp Jr.  He has thirteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter.  He was crazy about his Chicago home teams, The Cubs and The Bears.  His interests were varied, including baking, fishing, any type of crossword puzzles,  and playing cards.  He had an emphatic love of dogs, especially Cocker Spaniels.  He was so very loved by all of his family and friends.    His service will be October 16th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at The Secret Window located on 47 3rd Street, Monument, CO, 80132 and the Committal at 2:00 PM located at Pikes Peak National Cemetery on 10545 Drennan Rd, Colorado Springs, CO, 80925
