Shelly Ann Devie Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shelly Ann Devie, a loving mother and wife, and an overall remarkable woman.  Shelly was born October 2, 1964, in Sterling Colorado and passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.


In her lifetime, Shelly was defined by her devotion to her family.  She loved when her family would get together and always made sure the dinner table was a place of love and laughter, with the best home-cooked meals.  She was known for her warmth, strength and ability to make anyone feel welcomed and loved.


Shelly is survived by her husband, Don Devie, and her children, Cayde (Tiffany) Devie, Shanna (Kenny) Serafinko, Colton Devie, and grandchildren, Harper and Hayden Serafinko who were the center of her world.  Her sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Darwin Everett.  Her sister, Donna Breidenbach and nieces, Brooke Everett and Ashlynn Breidenbach.


Shelly was preceded in death by her father and mother, Don and Patty Kippes and beloved sister, Paula Kippes.


A private memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Pines in Colorado Springs on April 24, 2026.  She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
