Sarah Lee Roach passed away on April 3, 2026, surrounded by love.
Sarah was a strong and resilient woman who faced life with courage, including her battle with illness. Her strength and perseverance were evident to all who knew her, and she carried herself with quiet grace through life’s challenges.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love for her family was unwavering. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kitonya Carson; her mother, Marie Carson; her father, Henry Carson Sr.; and her brother, Henry Carson. She is survived by her daughters, Taleka Carson and Naya Carson; her son, Andre Roach; her brother, Billy Carson; and her beloved grandchildren: granddaughters Carmen, Destinee, and Alayna, and grandsons Daunte, Kassius, Kolten, Aiden, and Marcellus. They were the center of her world, and her love for them remained constant and unwavering.
Sarah spent much of her working life as a housekeeper at a hospital, where she took pride in her work and in helping create a clean and welcoming environment for others. After becoming disabled, she found joy and purpose in creating handmade items such as wreaths, blankets, and other crafts, which she lovingly shared with others.
She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the comfort she brought to others simply by being herself.
