Ronald Byron Rose

Dr. Ronald “Ron” B. Rose, beloved husband and best friend of Roberta Rose, passed
away at home in the early hours of October 4, 2025. Ron was a devoted father to David
(Ivy Wang), Dani (David Zein), Jeff (Abby Hickcox), and Todd (Marie née Wallace), and
an adoring “Pappa” and “Ababa” to Olivia, Aleksandr, Diego, Lola, Beatrix, and
Aaro—each of whom brought him endless joy and pride.

Ron lived a life filled with love, curiosity, and laughter. He was a master storyteller
whose quick wit and warmth drew people in, and his legendary burgers were the
centerpiece of countless family gatherings. A passionate horseman, Ron found great joy
riding his Icelandic horses, Straumer (Stan) and Tryggur (The Sweet Boy), alongside
friends and family, sharing in the peace and connection of the trail.

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Rose cared deeply for his patients and colleagues. His
compassion, skill, and dedication to his profession made him both a trusted clinician
and a mentor. A lifelong learner, Ron approached every day with integrity and humor —
qualities that inspired everyone who knew him.

Above all, Ron will be remembered for his boundless love for his family, his generous
heart, and the joy he brought to those around him. His spirit lives on in the stories he
told, the lessons he shared, and the laughter that continues in his family’s hearts. He
will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him.

A celebration of life is planned for
