Paula E. Urban

Pauline “Paula” Elaine Urban, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2026, in
Monument, Colorado.

Paula was born in Conowingo, Maryland, to Marcella Francis Layman Orr and Paul Evans Orr.
She built a successful career as a real estate agent in Northern California, where she was known
for her dedication, strong work ethic, and genuine care for her clients and community.

Paula is survived by her loving spouse, Fred Urban, her children, Michael George McCoy and
his spouse, Jessica McCoy, of Monument, Colorado, and Marilyn Durant and her spouse, John
Durant, of Fairfield, California. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Jonathan
Hazeleaf and his spouse, Kari Hazeleaf, of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; David Hazeleaf and his
spouse, Jillian Hazeleaf, of Folsom, California; Taylor McCoy of Denver, Colorado; and Lauren
McCoy of Monument, Colorado. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Scarlett
Hazeleaf, Max Hazeleaf, Jonah Nelson, and Malia Nelson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcella and Paul Orr.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 31 st , 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Monument Hill
Baptist Church in Monument, Colorado, followed by a reception at the church and internment at
The Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 10545 Drennan Road Colorado Springs, CO 80925
