Owanah Neatha Wick
March 21, 1937 - June 27, 2025
Owanah was born in Oklahoma where she lived for many years before attending college and
earning an associates degree in Business. She met her husband, Don, in Dallas, TX and they
were married in 1958. Owanah raised two children, Suzan (Pluemer) and Don (Wick) in
Loveland, Co. Owanah and Don lived in Loveland for many years before relocating to
Colorado Springs, where Owanah lived until she passed away.
Owanah loved crafts, especially collecting and making high-quality porcelain dolls. Owanah
owned her own doll shop in Colorado Springs. In Loveland, Owanah worked at a local yarn
shop and she was a teller and a supervisor at a local bank.
Owanah is survived by her husband Don, Sue and Bruce Pluemer, Don and Chery Wick, seven
grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren and one brother, Alan Tate. Owanah loved and
cared about her family deeply. Throughout her life, Owanah had many friends, and she was a
lifetime member of the Church of Christ.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
