Matthew James Beichner

Matthew James Beichner, age 23, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed
away unexpectedly on October 7, 2024. Born on August 14, 2001, Matthew
was a cherished son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, and friend, leaving
behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his mother Kim;
father Rick; sister Kaylyn; grandmother Dee; girlfriend Alex, as well as
countless other beloved family members and friends. He is preceded in
death by his grandmother Louise, grandfather Richard, and grandfather
Lars.
Matt was a passionate outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing.
He cherished every opportunity to get dust on his boots, whether pursuing
whitetail on the family property in Kansas or casting a line at Wilson,
Antero, or Tarryall Reservoirs. His love for the outdoors extended to the
baseball field throughout his life; he played at Central Christian College in
Kansas and was a dedicated supporter of Pittsburgh’s sports teams. His
strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to his friends were evident
to all who knew him. Matt was always ready with a smile or a joke, lifting
the spirits of those around him.
With a huge heart and deep faith in Jesus, Matt touched the lives of many.
His resilience in the face of life’s challenges was truly inspiring. His gift for
making others laugh and his genuine kindness will be deeply missed by
everyone who knew him.
To celebrate Matt’s life, we’ll be gathering on October 15th at New Life
Church, at the World Prayer Center, at 1 PM. To honor Matt’s spirit, we ask
attendees to dress in Western attire. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
that donations be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado or The
