Janice Griffith Obituary
Mrs. Janice S. Griffith 79, was born in St. John New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of Achilles and Elda Savoie. She was a resident of Milford from 1991 until 2025. Janice was a graduate of Worcester State University, class of 1969, and was a fourth grade teacher at Woodland school.
She was the Beloved wife of James D. Griffith (who died in 2024). She leave a daughter, Elise Blakemore, her husband Dj Blakemore, and her three grandchildren Arden, Ava, and Amelia of Monument Colorado. She also leaves her sister Irene Knipe of Milbury, MA, a brother-in-law Thomas Griffith and his wife Mary of California, a sister-in-law Claudette Savoie of Auburn, MA along with several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Hopedale MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local food pantry, Dana Farber or the American Cancer Society.
